FCBD® Duets with Baskets

Lisa and Claudia will teach an exciting, energetic FCBD-style duet using the basket prop. Duets are a powerful way to engage an audience and highlight the connection between dancers.

In this workshop, we will focus on duet movements that are especially dramatic and effective when dancing with a basket, with attention to timing, spacing, and visual impact.

Fast duet movements covered include:
Arc Arm Pass, Sunanda Duet, Egyptian Spin, Turkish Shimmy Crossover, Sevillana, and Do Si Do.

You do not need to come with a partner. This workshop welcomes solo dancers. We will all be working together and rotating partners throughout the class, so everyone gets to dance with everyone. Come on your own and we will take care of the rest.
